Questions

How do I move my decks from Anki? In Anki on your computer, choose File → Export, pick "Anki Collection Package (.colpkg)" or "Anki Deck Package (.apkg)" and keep "Include scheduling information" on. Then open the file with Remembin from Files, Mail or AirDrop. Your cards and review history come with it.

Does my progress carry over from Anki? Yes. The app reads your review history and calculates each card's memory state with FSRS, the same scheduler Anki uses.

How do I sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac? Turn on sync in Profile → Sync on each device. It uses your private iCloud account. Sync is off by default.

Can I go back to Anki? Yes. Use Profile → Export to save a .colpkg or .apkg file and import it in Anki.

Where is my data stored? On your device, and in your private iCloud database if you turn on sync. Automatic backups are kept on your device. We never receive your collection.

Some cards have no sound. Decks often link to audio on other websites. Open the deck and tap "Download Deck Audio" to keep it offline. If the website no longer hosts the file, it can't be played.

Is the app related to Anki? No. Remembin is an independent app that can open Anki deck files. Anki is a trademark of its owner.
